Housing benefit

If housing benefit did not apply to the private sector, rents would drop. No benefits would be payable above £300 a month; this could apply from the next time one moved form the private sector. Capital used for housing benefit could be used for landlord repair grants. Those who pay rent in social housing for 30 years or become the age of 60 should then only pay an admin and repair cost.
